Our client, a leader in facility management, is seeking a Chief Engineer to join their team. As a Chief Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a commitment to safety, and a comprehensive understanding of maintenance processes, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

Oversee the operation and maintenance of HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and timely repairs. Identify and remediate safety hazards to maintain a safe working environment for all staff and occupants. Supervise and manage engineering and maintenance staff, focusing on training and professional development. Implement and manage reliability-based maintenance functions to enhance equipment uptime. Maintain compliance with all regulatory laws and guidelines related to building infrastructure.

What's Needed?

Associate Degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent work experience. 7+ years of facility-related work experience, including leadership and supervisory roles. Comprehensive knowledge of maintenance processes and construction planning. Working knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft Office and CMMS systems. Certification as a Universal Technician for CFC’s (or within 90 days of employment).
