What will I be doing?
As a Chief Concierge, you will lead the Concierge Team and set the department goals to help Team Members to create an exceptional Guest and customer experience. A Chief Concierge is responsible for managing the first impressions of our Guests and, therefore, must perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
Ensure the comprehensive training and consistent execution of all team operations in alignment with Forbes Travel Guide standards, fostering a culture of excellence and delivering exceptional guest experiencesSupervise daily Concierge operationsSet Departmental objectives, work schedules, budgets, policies and proceduresMonitor the appearance, standards and performance of the Concierge Team Members with an emphasis on training and teamworkEnsure Team Members have current knowledge of hotel products, services, pricing and policies as well as a good knowledge of the local areaMaximise Sales revenues through up-selling and marketing programmesMonitor Guest satisfaction reports and implement actions to improve resultsMaintain good communication and working relationships with all hotel areasProject a professional manner with an emphasis on hospitality and Guest serviceAct in accordance with policies and procedures when working with front of house equipment and property management systemsAttend Front of House/Hotel meetings, as requiredWhat are we looking for?

Solid experience in luxury hospitality, preferably with a proven track record in the implementation and oversight of Forbes Travel Guide standardsA degree or diploma in Hotel Management or equivalentFront Office supervisory experience in the hotel, leisure or retail sectorPossess strong commercial awareness and Sales capabilitiesExcellent leadership skills, inter-personal and communication skillsA passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest serviceExcellent grooming standardsIt would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
Previous experience working as a Chief Concierge or Head Concierge in a hotel environment
