The Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) is responsible for driving the growth and market expansion of the company’s sustainable food products. The CCO develops and executes a comprehensive commercial strategy aimed at entering new international markets, driving revenue growth, increasing market penetration, and strengthening brand positioning on a global scale.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
• Contribute effectively to the group’s aim and strategic direction; develop and lead the execution of Commercial strategies at the organization level.
• Lead Sales, Marketing, and Business Development teams across international markets to achieve business objectives and vision.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Design and develop a comprehensive commercial strategy that drives growth and market entry into the targeted markets.
• Establish performance metrics and Commercial processes to ensure effective conversion, market penetration, and customer retention.
• Lead market research to monitor global market trends and identify opportunities, optimize market and channel entry strategies, and establish competitive positioning in new regions.
• Oversee the Sales team to achieve aggressive sales and revenue targets in the identified markets, focusing on strategic accounts, partnerships, and distribution channels.
• Develop and implement tailored business development strategies to increase market share, maximize revenue streams, and expand customer bases across the target geographies.
• Lead Category Directors to drive product development, market-specific portfolio adjustments, and innovation, ensuring alignment with regional preferences and regulatory standards.
• Oversee the launch of new products and ensure successful positioning, pricing strategies, and promotional activities are tailored to each market to meet customers’ requirements.
• Lead the Revenue Analyst to establish data-driven pricing strategies, optimize margins, and improve P&L performance across different product lines.
• Establish and maintain solid win-win relationships with international traders, blenders, B2B and B2C companies, as well as trade partners to achieve sustainable and profitable growth, while maintaining customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Ensure that lead generation, digital and trade marketing campaigns, are aligned with overall commercial strategy and plans.
• Foster strong relationships with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, and R&D teams to ensure seamless execution of commercial strategies and alignment with market demands.
• Partner with the Chief Innovation & Quality Officer to ensure that product development align with commercial goals and sustainability standards.
• Lead the selection and integration of AI solutions to optimize commercial processes, enhance operational efficiency, and drive data-driven decision-making across the unit.
• Led the Commercial team to anticipate/identify challenges, and come up with strategies and plans to overcome these challenges and achieve business objectives.
• Lead and develop the commercial team, setting strategic goals, mentoring team members, fostering a high-performance culture, ensuring continuous development and growth.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
• Revenue Growth Rate: Measures the percentage increase in revenue over a specific
period.
• Gross Profit Margin: Measures profitability by showing the percentage of revenue
remaining after deducting the cost of goods sold.
• Return on Marketing Investment (ROMI): Assesses the effectiveness of marketing
expenditures in generating revenue.
• Market Penetration Rate: Measures success in capturing market share in new and existing
regions.
• Lead Conversion Rate: Measures the percentage of qualified leads converted into sales,
reflecting the effectiveness in managing the sales funnel.
• Customer Satisfaction: Measures the rate of customer satisfaction in different areas- like
product, service, complaint handling, product development, support...
EDUCATION (SCHOOL/SPECIALIZATION): Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
LANGUAGES: Proficient in English. Proficiency in other European languages is a major plus (French, Italian, or Spanish)
EXPERIENCES: 20+ years of commercial experience, with at least 7 years in senior leadership, with a proven track record in driving commercial success for sustainable products. Experience within the agri-food industry of juices, concentrates, or IQF. Is a must. Experience in global markets is a must (US and Europe); GCC experience is a plus.

• Data Analytics & Decision-Making: Capable of using advanced analytics tools for predictive insights, demand forecasting, and informed decision-making.
• Supply Chain & Logistics Knowledge: Knowledgeable about supply chain processes, distribution channels, and logistics requirements.
• Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management: Ability to ensure adherence to global regulatory standards and manage risks related to legal, financial, and operational aspects of market expansion.
