The Opportunity

We’re gearing up to launch the first standout, Andaz Gold Coast and we’re looking for a sharp, data driven, detail-obsessed Chief Accountant to set our financial house in perfect order from day one. This is a rare opportunity to shape the financial systems, policies and culture of a hotel from the ground up
What You’ll Do
Pre-Opening Phase
· Establish all accounting procedures, controls, and financial workflows
· Set up the chart of accounts and ensure alignment with brand and ownership guidelines
· Support budget planning, CAPEX tracking, and pre-opening cost control
· Implement accounting systems (POS/PMS integrations, inventory, procurement)
· Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and external partners to ensure readiness
· Train the finance team and guide other departments on financial standards
Operational Phase
· Oversee daily accounting operations and month-end closing
· Monitor revenue, expenses, payroll, and cash flow with precision
· Ensure accurate financial reporting, PL, and balance sheet integrity
· Manage compliance with local regulations, tax requirements, and internal controls
· Work closely with department heads to drive cost efficiency and financial awareness
· Support the Director of Finance in strategic planning and forecasting
