We are seeking a skilled cherry picker operator to assist with order selecting in a large pick section at our facility in Upper Marlboro, MD. This role involves pulling and transporting products weighing between 2 lbs to 75 lbs using a cherry picker. The work schedule is from Monday to Friday, starting at 2:30 PM until completion, which depends on the speed and volume of orders for the day. Experience in a large distribution center is essential as there is no training provided. Familiarity with wire guidance systems is a plus due to the close proximity of racks.
ResponsibilitiesOperate a cherry picker to select and transport products.Pull products weighing from 2 lbs to 75 lbs efficiently and safely.Ensure accurate and timely order selection based on daily requirements.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace.Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed.
Essential SkillsMinimum of 2 years' experience operating a cherry picker in a large distribution center.Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Strong work history with no more than four jobs in five years.Punctuality and reliability in attendance.
Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with wire guidance systems is advantageous.Ability to work within a 100,000+ sq ft distribution center.

Our facility is a brand-new, expansive, and fast-paced warehouse covering over 220,000 square feet with more than 25 bay doors. The environment is well-organized and clean, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a tidy workspace. The large pick segment features floor-to-ceiling racks and a wire guidance system, ensuring efficiency and safety in operations.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
