Chemistry Lab Technician

Description

Perform testing/inspection of incoming, in-process and final components/materials/products per applicable standard operating procedures. Ensure timely testing and release of incoming components/materials, in process production, and finished product.

The consultant in this role would be doing a lot to test different solutions- these could be cleaning solutions/detergents as well as hemodialysis concentrates.

Operate instruments in the laboratory (HPLC, atomic absorption, Polarimeter, chlorometer, digital burettes, pH meter and conductivity meter) as well as visual inspection. 50% of the role is instrumentation work, the rest is documentation work.

Description

1. Decontamination, cleaning, and sterilization of glassware and other containers

2. Monitoring and maintenance of laboratory equipment including calibration

3. Preparation of media and reagents

4. Perform routine product and raw material testing of samples

5. Perform product and raw material testing of samples

6. Preparation of reagents, standard solutions, equipment for use, etc.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Science (they are very open to someone still completing their degree)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
