Job DescriptionLeading of and participating in projects / development tasks delivering best in class tread material performance, sustainability and cost based on customer requirementsDevelopment of material and relevant process specifications ensuring optimized and robust product performanceTransfer and implementation of new technologies and raw materials into commercial vehicle tread compounds by improving technology understanding enabling improved product performance, sustainability and costSupport all quality related processes to ensure the highest quality experience for our customers in cooperation with QM and other required functionsOptimize product performance by participating in the generation of compound pattern interaction know-howEnsure global health and safety standards in current and future developmentsBuilding and extending know-how regarding tread compounding considering recipes and performance-relevant processes and documentation thereof in the compounding design guideConsulting of colleagues regarding tread material related topicsQualificationsMaster or PhD in Chemistry or Natural SciencesIdeally, first professional experience in compounding and / or rubber chemistryHigh customer focus and interface management competenceFluent English language skills (written and spoken)Analytical, goal-oriented and innovative approachIntercultural competency along with clear and open communication abilities that support the growth of diversityApplications from severely handicapped people are welcome.
