Job Description
A full-time opportunity is available for a skilled Industrial Chemist to conduct chemical analysis and support laboratory operations in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The role involves testing raw materials, intermediates, and finished products to ensure compliance with established standards.
ResponsibilitiesAnalyze chemical and physical properties of various substances.Perform routine testing and documentation of pharmaceutical materials.Prepare solutions, conduct extractions, filtrations, and other lab techniques.Audit lab data and maintain accurate records.Interpret results and compile technical reports.Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) results per standard procedures.Operate and maintain lab instruments such as HPLC, ICP/MS, UV, and IR.Develop and execute protocols and standard operating procedures.Follow safety guidelines and contribute to method development.Carry out additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.Essential SkillsProficiency in HPLC, IR, FTIR, ICP/MS, and other analytical lab equipment.Strong understanding of Chemistry, Wet chemistry, Analytical chemistry, and Quality control.Experience with GCMS.1–3 years of experience in an industrial or pharmaceutical lab setting.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related field.Fluent in English and Spanish.Familiarity with GMP and GLP standards.Work Environment
The role is based in a clean room laboratory with desk and bench workstations. The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 4:15 pm to 12:45 am. The environment is dynamic and inclusive, offering opportunities for professional growth, collaboration, and continuous learning in a supportive setting.
