Job Description
Perform laboratory analysis of samples according to established specifications and procedures using wet chemistry techniques or various lab apparatus and instruments in compliance with cGMP, GLP's, SOP's USP and FDA guidelines.
ResponsibilitiesPerform lab analysis of samples using wet chemistry techniques or various lab apparatus and instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV-VIS, FT-IR, TOC, and pH meter.Conduct routine qualification, calibration, and maintenance of lab instruments.Prepare analytical standards and reagents according to established procedures and specifications.Execute protocols for method verification and validation.Scan and compile supporting data for report and document preparation.Undertake other tasks and projects as assigned.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related scientific field is strongly preferred.Minimum of 0-1 year of experience in an academic or science laboratory.Excellent technical writing, editing, formatting, and organization skills.Proficiency in MS Office Suite.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with academic lab techniques such as pH, titrations, FT-IR.Knowledge of HPLC, UV-VIS, and general chemistry techniques.No industry experience required.Work Environment
Work in a controlled laboratory setting with chemicals within a manufacturing facility. The role involves working in an in-process lab for IV solution formulation and a lab for IV solutions finished products or raw materials. Safety attire such as lab coats, safety shoes, and glasses is required. The department consists of 25 people working in one lab, with shifts varying. Training occurs Monday to Friday from 8 am to 4:30 pm. Post-training, flexibility to work on a rotating schedule with 12-hour shifts, including one weekend day, is necessary.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
