Job Description

As a Chemist, you will perform laboratory analysis of samples using wet chemistry techniques, adhering to established specifications and procedures in compliance with cGMP, GLP's, SOP's, USP, and FDA guidelines. This role involves a 12-month consulting project with potential for direct hire, supporting the quality control of IV solutions and materials.

ResponsibilitiesPerform laboratory analysis of samples using wet chemistry techniques such as pH testing and titrations.Conduct routine qualification, calibration, and maintenance of laboratory instruments.Prepare analytical standards and reagents according to established procedures and specifications.Scan and compile supporting data for report and document preparation.Execute chemistry testing and other essential duties in support of Process Surface Material Qualification.Participate in Alternate Raw Material Supplier Qualifications and other QC Chemistry laboratory projects.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a related scientific field.0-1 year of experience in an academic or science laboratory with wet chemistry skills.Excellent technical writing, editing, formatting, and organization skills.Proficiency in MS Office Suite.Additional Skills & QualificationsOpen to recent graduates with a bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Chemical Engineering.No prior industry experience required.Work Environment

Work in a controlled laboratory environment within a manufacturing facility, handling chemicals and performing full product testing for IV solutions. The lab includes 25 people overall, with potential shifts involving 1 to 2 people in process testing. Protective gear such as lab coats, safety shoes, and glasses are required. The role involves working with extractions, pH, UV-Vis, and titrations.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
