Our client is seeking a skilled Chemical Services Field Technician to support operations in Carlsbad, NM and also in Delaware area. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and optimization of chemical pumps, as well as performing fluid sampling, flushes, and acid treatments. The technician will play a key role in troubleshooting production issues and coordinating with various teams to ensure safe and efficient chemical applications.

Key Responsibilities Collect production fluid samples for testing as needed. Troubleshoot and maintain chemical pumps in the field. Document pending and completed repairs using the company’s mobile application. Address production issues including corrosion, emulsion, paraffin, and solids. Monitor chemical levels and coordinate re-fills as required. Track new wells and determine treatment needs and equipment types. Coordinate equipment installations and ensure all relevant teams are informed. Uphold high safety standards for internal teams and third-party contractors. Maintain regular communication with Special Services Team, Production Foremen, Engineers, and Lease Operators. Execute flushes and acid treatments according to procedures provided by production engineers. Schedule chemical jobs with vendors and trucking companies. Basic / Required Qualifications Foundational knowledge of production chemicals and their applications. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word. Familiarity with SCADA systems such as XSPOC or Ignition (preferred). Strong leadership and communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to shifting priorities. Self-motivated and capable of working independently. High attention to detail. Physically capable of lifting over 50 lbs and climbing ladders/stairways. Special Job Characteristics Field-based role with frequent travel across the Delaware area.
