What you will be doing as a Chemical Processor:
You can expect to clean aircraft components using chemical processes and apply protective coatings to prevent corrosion before the final paint application.
Your responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):
Movement and preparation of aircraft parts: Move and organize aircraft parts of all shapes and sizes using holding racks and conveyors, ensuring they are properly identified and ready for processingSurface Preparation: Clean and mask surfaces while verifying mill thickness using SPC Data Collection devices to maintain quality standardsTank Operation: Operate tank equipment to apply chemical film protective coatings, ensuring complete and consistent application per specificationsMaintenance of Equipment: Manually manage tank levels, temperatures, and immersion times, ensuring adherence to material specifications for optimal performanceCorrosion Prevention: Apply corrosion preventative measures by hand on bonded assemblies and rework applications, following detailed specificationsWhat you need to be successful:
High School education, GED, or a Bronze Level WorkKeys certification is required.Physical ability to lift parts, bend over for extended amounts of time, and work in hot working conditions is helpful.Why join us?
