Chemical Lab Tech (1st shift)

Seeking a Chemical Lab Technician skilled in general chemistry for sample analysis and reporting using laboratory equipment.

Requirements

Basic laboratory knowledge and techniques

Technical capacity to perform chemical analyses

Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and ability to learn other lab software

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Preferred Skills

Experience with analytical measurements including titrations, pH, ORP, and conductivity meters

Familiarity with maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Knowledge of chemical bath make-ups and analysis of new bath components

Responsibilities

Perform analytical measurements using titrations, pH, ORP, and conductivity meters

Report out-of-control results to Chemist or Lab Supervisor

Initiate and maintain SOPs for lab procedures and chemical bath make-ups

Maintain work area and equipment cleanliness while following safety regulations

Complete tasks as directed by Labman and Preventative Maintenance schedules

Research methods for analyzing new bath components as needed

Maintain and update master list of Chemical Safety Data Sheets



Pay Details: $20.00 to $26.00 per hour
