The Chemical Engineer II is responsible for conducting all testing activities under the ETEC# R&D project, focused on the development and delivery of a chemical product designed to enhance water injectivity in oil reservoirs..
 

As a Chemical Engineer II, you will be responsible for:

Ensure compliance with Manage the Job Cycle (MtJC) processSubject Matter Expert for their area of supportSupport the field technically through different media (online, phone calls and technical papers)24/7 Support for Critical Operations in the field when neededShare the knowledge across the organization by submitting best practices, case histories & lessons learned to the knowledge management databaseFollow up on field failures that requires Technology involvement and ensure that the learning is shared across the fieldRaise an alert across the Service Delivery organization whenever an unfamiliar  technical issues arises on a jobCoach other technical resources in their area of expertiseCommunicate to Engineering and Technology organization on issues and lessons learned related to different technologiesPL specific responsibilitiesPerform the tested needed to develop the product aimed at improving injectivity in oil wellsWarranty the test chronogram for the ETEC is accomplishDevelop report of the technical data obtained by the testingPrepare together with the project coordinator the inform for the gate meetingsInstall and commissioning new equipmentWarranty calibration and maintenance of the equipment

To be successful in this role you will:

Have bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering or Industrial EngineeringDisplays initiative, is self-driven & flexibleStrong analytical and problem solving skillsAbility to develop and mentor othersAvailability on call outside of normal business hoursGood communication skillsFluency in English and Portuguese is a requirement for this role

DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS:

Thorough understanding of PL technology and Service Delivery requirementsSignificant operational experienceEnd to End knowledge of the drilling and completion process is an advantageAbility to learn and use various computer tools to prepare data and visualizations for analysisAbility to work independently
