Process/Chemical Engineer – Offshore

Contract Duration: 1 month assignment 
Start Date: Immediate

We are urgently seeking a skilled Process or Chemical Engineer to join operations onboard an FPSO in Angola for a short-term assignment. This role is critical to ensuring the optimal performance of the seawater treatment and injection system.

Key Responsibilities: Supervise daily operations of the seawater treatment and injection system, including: Seawater lift pumps Coarse filtration and media filters Vacuum deaeration units Sulphate removal membranes Water injection pumps Chemical dosing systems Monitor system performance and identify optimization opportunities. Conduct performance interventions such as Clean-In-Place (CIP) procedures. Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues to maintain system integrity. Requirements: Proven experience in offshore process or chemical engineering roles. Strong understanding of water treatment and injection systems. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced offshore environment. Availability to mobilize immediately for a 1 rotation assignment.
