The Ritz Carlton, Hong Kong is currently hiring an Chef de Cuisine for In-Room Dining and The Lounge & Bar Kitchen.
**Job Summary**
+ Oversee chefs and kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
+ Promote a cooperative work environment to enhance productivity and employee morale.
+ Monitor performance to ensure all kitchen procedures are followed.
+ Prepare labor forecasts and weekly schedules, adjusting as needed for business demands.
+ Ensure the preparation of nutritious, safe, and appealing food, adhering to quality standards.
+ Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment, ensuring compliance with health guidelines.
+ Engage with guests to gather feedback and address complaints to ensure satisfaction.
+ Develop and manage the kitchen budget, monitoring food and labor costs.
+ Conduct regular kitchen inspections, oversee staff assignments, and implement corrective measures as needed.
**Job Requirements**
+ Diploma in culinary related disciplines or equivalent vocational training certificate
+ 10 years or above of culinary experience and preferably in hotels
+ Well-versed in kitchen hygiene, be innovative and service-oriented
+ Team player with good communication skills
