Chef de Cuisine - (Pool House & Bar In Room Dinning)

We are seeking an experienced Italian Chef to join our team and elevate our Italian cuisine offerings.

This role focuses on Italian Chef de Cuisine responsibilities, specializing in pizza, pasta, international dishes, and pool bar comfort food. The ideal candidate is a culinary professional with specialized knowledge of regional Italian cuisine and a strong passion for Italian culinary traditions.

The Chef will be responsible for creating and preparing authentic Italian dishes, developing recipes, and managing the Poolside Pizza Oven and In-Room Dining (IRD) kitchen team.

The Italian Chef must demonstrate strong culinary skills, creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional cuisine. The role also requires staying current with industry trends, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and ensuring exceptional service standards.

Responsibility

· Create menus and develop new recipes that showcase authentic Italian cuisine.

· Prepare and cook Italian dishes such as pasta, pizza, antipasti, and seafood, using both traditional and modern methods.

· Supervise kitchen staff and manage food inventory to ensure smooth daily operations.

· Ensure food presentation meets high standards and that food safety and sanitation regulations (HACCP) are followed in compliance with Park Hyatt standards.

· Monitor food costs and maintain budgetary controls.

· Adhere strictly to all food safety and sanitation regulations.

· Collaborate with restaurant management to develop marketing strategies and culinary promotions.

· Stay current with industry trends and incorporate new techniques and ingredients into menu offerings.

· Work collaboratively with other hotel kitchens, including Banquet, MICE, and Events, coordinating closely with senior chefs.Create menus and develop new recipes that showcase authentic Italian cuisine.

Proven ability to manage a kitchen and supervise kitchen staff effectively.

Creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative, Italian-inspired menus and dishes.

Excellent time management and organizational skills to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
