Chartering Manager (MPP)
Job Description Chartering Manager

Job Description:
As a Chartering Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing project-based chartering opportunities for our fleet of Multi-Purpose (MPP) vessels. Your primary focus will be on winning large-scale, strategic projects rather than one-off deals, building strong relationships with clients, and expanding our market presence in the maritime industry.

Key Responsibilities Identify and target project-based chartering opportunities for MPP vessels, such as infrastructure, energy, or industrial projects. Develop and maintain strong relationships with shippers, brokers, and key stakeholders in the maritime and logistics sectors. Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and competitive dynamics in the MPP chartering market. Negotiate and secure long-term chartering contracts, ensuring alignment with company objectives and profitability goals. Collaborate with internal teams (operations, technical, and finance) to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking forums to enhance brand visibility. Prepare and present proposals, bids, and tenders for large-scale projects. Monitor and report on market conditions, client feedback, and project performance to senior management. What you need.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Maritime Studies, Logistics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). Minimum of 5 years of experience in chartering or business development within the maritime industry, with a focus on MPP or project cargo vessels. Proven track record of securing high-value, project-based contracts in the maritime or logistics sector. Strong understanding of MPP vessel operations, chartering processes, and project cargo logistics. Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. Proficiency in market analysis and strategic planning. Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
What We Offer Growth Opportunity: Be the first charterer in our new office, with the potential to lead rapid team and regional expansion. Independence: Enjoy full autonomy in your role with no micromanagement. Stable Compensation: Receive your salary in USD to avoid fluctuations in the Turkish Lira, ensuring financial stability.
