Job DescriptionIn this position, you will develop innovative power semiconductor components (Si Power MOSFETs) for applications in the automotive electronics of the future.You will precisely characterize these devices and verify compliance with specifications. This also includes the analysis of manufacturing data and electrical production testing (including Electrical Wafer Sort).You will have technical responsibility for the characterization laboratory and act as the central interface to laboratory and test equipment development at the Reutlingen and Dresden sites.If you have the appropriate qualifications and experience, you will be appointed as the “responsible electrically skilled person”.Finally, you will coordinate and carry out further development tasks while actively managing interfaces with customers, manufacturing, and quality assurance.QualificationsEducation: Completed university degree in electrical engineering or a comparable field of studyExperience and know-how: in-depth knowledge of semiconductor device characterization and electrical safety; knowledge of semiconductor device physics and manufacturing processes is an advantage; relevant experience in the development of power semiconductors is desirablePersonality and working style: ability to clearly communicate complex topics; enjoys working collaboratively and constructively in a team; efficient at coordinating tasks, with a high level of independence and willingness to collaborate across departmentsWork routine: in a hybrid working model, you will meet your team members on site 3–4 days per week for personal exchange and collaborationLanguages: good command of German and English, both written and spokenAdditional InformationWe offer flexible working models: from various part-time options to mobile working and job sharing.
