**Employment Type:** Full time **Shift:** Day Shift **Description:** **Position Purpose** St. Joseph of the Pines, a member of Trinity Health Senior Communities, is seeking a compassionate and mission-driven **Chaplain** to provide holistic **Spiritual Care** to residents, families, staff, and the broader community. This role focuses on addressing spiritual distress, grief, crisis intervention, and support during life transitions. As a vital member of the interdisciplinary care team, the Chaplain integrates spiritual support into the healing process and fosters sacred environments that honor diverse faith traditions. **What You Will Do** + Deliver transformative spiritual care experiences across the continuum of care. + Assess and respond to spiritual and ethical needs, including referrals and documentation in the medical record. + Lead and coordinate religious services, sacraments, prayer groups, and meditation opportunities. + Collaborate with clergy and faith leaders to support community members. + Provide education and modeling of spiritual care practices to colleagues. + Support workplace spirituality and colleague care initiatives. + Maintain sacred spaces and resources for worship and reflection. + Serve as a Community Compliance Liaison, promoting ethical practices and integrity. **Minimum Qualifications** + Master's degree in Theology, Religion, Spiritual Care or Spirituality, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. + 1–3 years of spiritual care experience, including Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE).
