USSTRATCOM is a Combatant Command responsible for strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, and enterprise IT services essential to national security. It oversees Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO), Global Strike, and Missile Threat Assessments, working closely with other Combatant Commands, Services, and defense agencies. SCITLS will be a key component that will ensure mission success and the safety of the U.S. and its allies by providing 24/7 IT services and network support for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP/SAR environments.
Change Management
Integrates databases into the CI/CD pipeline, managing version control for database schemas, and overseeing deployments across environments.
Supports agile methodologies and modernizes database management through automation and version control practices.
Develops and executes standardized methods and procedures for the efficient and prompt handling of IT Service Requests for Change (RFCs) for Standard (Workflow), Non-Standard (IT Project), and Emergency Changes.
Ensures that the change management process includes inputs and outputs to other ITSM processes.
Establishes, coordinates, schedules, and facilitates a Change Control Board (CCB).
Oversees CCB Chair to determine and implement a standardization process for categorization of changes.
Implements and manages a communications feedback process to ensure requested changes have appropriate approvals.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Technical Training (or equivalent experience), 3+ years of experience
Security Clearance Level: Top Secret with SCI eligibility
Required Certifications: ITIL 4 Foundation; A+ or Network+
