clinical staff within the Department and within subspecialty divisions of the Departmentmiddot Leading staff including appointing departmental members to committees establishing and coordinating faculty and staff development periodically evaluating faculty and staff as well as all faculty appointments reappointments and promotions according to Medical Staff By Lawsmiddot Ensuring professional performance of all practitioners with clinical privileges in the Departmentmiddot Collaborating with administrative and nursing leadership to build a team based clinical environmentmiddot Developing hospital focused quality metricsmiddot Outreach to EMS servicesmiddot Promote and support academic teaching and clinical research opportunitiesAs Stroke Director of St Vincentrsquos Medical Center you will champion the delivery of advanced stroke care and treatment options for patients and oversee and participate in evaluating maintaining and improving performance processes and metrics required for comprehensive stroke center status The Director will collaborate with neurology neurosurgery interventional neuroradiology nursing and other disciplines to lead quality improvement initiatives to improve clinical outcomes patient experience and further advance the stroke program The Director will lead and supervise the education and mentoring of faculty residents and students Clinical
