Master’s degree required; RD or CDM, CFPP preferred.7+ years of progressive senior leadership in food service and nutrition operations; healthcare experience preferred.Strong financial, operational, and regulatory experience.Excellent collaboration and communication skills.Experience with contract oversight and compliance.Demonstrated success in managing large teams and complex operations.Willingness to travel frequently, with primary location at Rochester, MN campus.

Compensation Detail
The minimum starting salary for the position may range from $210,000 to $316,000. This range reflects full-time total base compensation prior to consideration of additional experience or duties. Pay for the selected candidate will vary based on experience, FTE, internal equity, or external market data.

Responsibilities
The Chair-Enterprise Food Services at Mayo Clinic is a strategic leadership role responsible for establishing and leading enterprise-level food and nutrition strategy. This role is pivotal in delivering category-of-one excellence in patient, visitor, staff, and catering experience, fostering innovation in food service and nutrition operations, including automation, and ensuring contract compliance with food service providers. The leader will elevate accountability and oversee food service and nutrition operations across all Mayo Clinic sites.
Responsibilities include:
Establishes and leads enterprise-level food and nutrition strategy and execution.Delivers excellence in patient, visitor, and staff experience.Fosters innovation in food service and nutrition operations.Oversees contract compliance, performance to KPIs, and strategic execution with contracted food service relationships.Collaborates with nursing, medical, and administrative leaders to ensure coordinated service delivery.Assures coordination to meet site-specific needs.Fosters a high-performance culture that promotes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.Elevates accountability and streamlines oversight across Mayo Clinic sites.Qualifications
