The CGI Producer plans, prepares, and executes CGI workflows for Crate & CB2, anticipating ad hoc requests and tracking assets for timely implementation. This role partners with design, sourcing, and merchandising to ensure model readiness. They foster strong relationships with external vendors to secure optimal pricing, speed, and quality. The CGI Producer is accountable for implementing modern, fast, and agile 3D workflows. They manage all paperwork (contracts, job confirmations, invoices) and serve as the central contact for CGI across teams.

This is an on-site position based out of our Chicago, IL Photo Studio

A day in the life as a CGI Producer…

Manage and be accountable for all 3D model development, planning, and execution from beginning to end of new and existing productsPlan relevant meetings and milestones to gather necessary information from cross-functional teams (design, sourcing, merchandising)Engage with external modeling vendors across the CGI process, maintaining strong external partnerships and advocating for team needs (price, speed, quality)Prioritize quality, ensuring 3D models and materials meet Crate and Barrel Holdings visual and technical quality standards for various applicationsPartner with Production Coordinator to ensure all relevant custom products are accounted for within the 3D production pipelineAnticipate and react to 3D’s role in any off-cadence requests.Manage functional QA of 3D model assetsSupport the coordination for all 3D modeling reference material (photography, swatches, CADs, etc.)Accountable for tracking and managing the 3D modeling budget and individual projectsMonitor 3D modeling workflow pace; ensure relevant models are prepared and on scheduleSeek improvement opportunities within the 3D pipeline, cross-functional workflows, and in partnership with 3D manager, 3D requirements and specsEmbrace and introduce current and new technology, partnerships, and processes that support the businessManage all communications regarding 3D model project status and timelines with key cross-functional departments including CGI Asset Creation and DigitalEncourage teamwork, collaboration, and positive interactions within the team and with all company associatesSupport the company’s mission and goals, including applicable key performance indicators (KPIs) related to 3D

Minimum Starting Rate: $59,000.00 Annually

Up to: $78,000.00 Annually

Pay ranges will be adjusted upward as needed to comply with applicable state and local law. In addition to your salary, based on your role, associates may be eligible for other compensation including bonuses, sales incentives, and long term incentives.
