Recently acquired by a major investment fund, the company is entering a new growth phase, aiming to scale operations and strengthen its market leadership.
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead and optimize financial processes, support strategic decision-making, and ensure robust financial governance. The CFO will work closely with the CEO and senior management team, leveraging external consultants where needed, to manage all financial and accounting operations in a dynamic, fast-growing environment.
Financial & Operational Management
Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures. Oversee daily financial operations and ensure cost efficiency. Monitor production costs, procurement, and expenses to maintain budget compliance. Negotiate and secure credit facilities within approved limits. Ensure effective asset management and compliance with legal requirements. Supervise and coordinate the finance team. Manage internal and external audit requirements. Prepare annual budgets, investment plans, and business plans in collaboration with senior management.Reporting & Representation
Deliver monthly reports to the Board and highlight risks or growth opportunities. Represent the company in dealings with third parties, including public institutions and authorities. Prepare and present financial reports for performance evaluation.Strategy & Development
Contribute to strategic planning and implementation. Identify and execute business development opportunities, including acquisitions and greenfield projects. Drive continuous improvement through automation and process optimization. Support strategic projects such as audits and transfer pricing. Requirements: Minimum 5 years of experience in senior financial leadership roles. University degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics. Strong knowledge of IFRS and Romanian accounting standards. Advanced MS Excel skills; proficiency in MS Office Suite. Experience with SAP (B1 or other versions) is a plus. Advanced English (written and spoken). Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. Hands-on approach with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage complex projects (audits, CAPEX, transfer pricing, compliance).Preferred Competencies:
Expertise in tax and accounting legislation. Experience in transfer pricing documentation and IFRS reporting. Budgeting, cost analysis, and KPI monitoring. Ability to calculate and optimize production costs. Collaborative mindset and strong leadership qualities.
