Description We are looking for an accomplished Chief Financial Officer to join our leadership team in Irvine, California. This pivotal role involves shaping the financial strategy of the company, overseeing capital operations, and driving fundraising activities to support business growth. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in capital markets and a proven ability to secure investments. Responsibilities: • Spearhead the company’s fundraising initiatives, focusing on equity financing and debt management to optimize the capital structure. • Oversee financial operations across all funding stages, including seed rounds, Series A, and beyond, ensuring adequate resources for expansion. • Direct financial planning, budgeting, and reporting to promote sustainable growth and regulatory compliance. • Build and maintain strong investor relationships, fostering transparent communication and enhancing the company’s visibility in capital markets. • Mitigate financial risks by ensuring compliance with regulations and strategically allocating resources. • Collaborate with executive leadership to align financial strategies with overall company goals. • Lead the digital transformation of financial systems to improve efficiency and streamline processes. • Provide actionable financial insights to management, facilitating informed decision-making and effective cash management. Requirements • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. • Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in a CFO or equivalent role. • Proven success in fundraising, investor relations, and mergers and acquisitions, with a demonstrated track record in securing investments. • Comprehensive expertise in U.S. capital markets, including experience in securing funding during seed rounds and Series A stages. • Strong strategic planning, financial analysis, and decision-making capabilities. • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a history of building and managing high-performing financial teams. • Proficiency in financial systems and tools, with experience in driving digital transformation. • Ability to work onsite with no remote options.
