Responsibilities Develop and run CFD models of water and wastewater treatment components and conveyance infrastructureDevelop sub-models of chemical reactions and biological processWork on engineering planning and design projectsPreparation of technical memoranda, reports and electronic deliverablesData entry and analysis Qualifications Master's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering or higher0 to 5 years of directly relevant experience in water and wastewater engineeringEngineer-in-Training CertificationExperience with CFD modeling software packages (Ansys products, OpenFOAM, Star-CCM+, Flow-3D, or similar)Knowledge of numerical modeling and methodsStrong interest in water and/or wastewater processApplication of engineering principles including critical thinking, analysis, and innovative techniquesStrong verbal and written communication skillsWork well in both in person and virtual team environmentsHave the ability to communicate effectively with clients and project teamHighly motivated, articulate, and self-startingProficient in MS office products Preferred Qualifications Free surface/open channel hydraulicsMultiphase flowsWastewater process models such as ASM variant's or ADM1Water disinfection kinetics, chlorine, ozone, UV Pay Range$90,000 to $130,000 annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
