We strive to offer the gold standard of care to every client and patient that we see. Our hospital has a fully-equipped surgical suite, digital radiology suite, digital dental radiology, cold laser therapy, an ultrasound suite, and a complete in-house diagnostic laboratory. By offering private suites for many of our services our patients can relax, not be distracted by others around them and have a less stressful visit. Our hospital is located just outside the heart of Gainesville, home to the University of Florida. While we are close to the University, we are nestled in an area surrounded by family communities. We are seeking a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our growing team and help ensure we are providing those great experiences. Professional client communication and education obtaining medical histories and symptoms Laboratory procedures including but not limited to: hematology, cytology, urinalysis, microbiology, blood chemistry, and fecals Diagnostic imaging and implementing safety protocols of fellow staff members Nursing skills including: restraining patients, administering medications PO/IV/SUBQ/IM, applying and maintaining bandages, proficient IV catheter placement and venipuncture, surgery prep, anaesthesia monitoring Proficient in dental prophylaxis Position Requirements: Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) or the ability to transfer credentials from state to state.
