We want your knowledge and expertise! **Job Summary and Qualifications** The Certified Surgical Technologist First Assist (CSTFA) works directly with the physician and the circulating registered nurse in each surgical procedure, understanding his/her scope of practice based upon training, and the facility policies and outlined in the job description. As defined by the American College of Surgeons (ACS), the CSTFA, during a surgical operation should be a trained individual who is able to participate in and actively assist the surgeon in completing the operation safely and expeditiously by helping to provide exposure, maintain hemostasis, and serve other technical functions. **What qualifications you will need:** + Completion of CAAHEP Accredited program + Minimum of five years certified surgical tech strongly preferred. 10 years’ experience is preferred + Active participant on Robotic Surgery team within the facility, with a minimum of 20+ cases and relevant education through DaVinci Robotic program. + Eligible candidates with less experience will be considered with high level previous experience in surgical cases such as Total Joint (Hip and Knees), Orthopedic Sports Medicine, Ortho and Neuro Spine, Crani, Bowel Resection and GYN open and laparoscopic services. + CSFA - NBSTSA Certification for Certified Surgical First Assist + CST - AST Certified Surgical Technician + BLS Southern Hills Hospital (https://southernhillshospital.com) is a 260+ bed acute care hospital.
