General Summary

Performs respiratory care modalities according to established standards and practices.

Duties and Responsibilities

Administers respiratory therapy modalities as per the physician, clinical practice guidelines, and/or clinical pathway; charts treatment, response and progress. Modifies therapy to maximize efficacy of the therapy regimen. Provides quality care consistent with appropriate policies and procedures, quality assessment program, safety, environmental and infection control standards.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

Certificate Program Post High School Vocational/Specialized Training. Required

Work Experience:

1 year Relevant experience. Required

Licenses:

Certified Respiratory Therapist Upon Hire Required and Licensed Respiratory Therapist Upon Hire Required and Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

Completion of an accredited respiratory therapy technician program. Upon Hire Required You’re unique and you belong here.
