Schedule: 5 8's; Full-Time
Sign on Bonus: $45,000; relocation bonus available
Practice: With the completion of a new tower this year Matthews will have 8 ORs and 3 Endo suites, cases include everything but heads and hearts; NORA cases including MRI and cardio-pulmonary

Responsibilities
+ Deliver safe and effective anesthesia care to pediatrics through geriatric populations
+ Administer anesthetics for a wide variety of surgical and non-surgical procedures
+ Monitor patients throughout anesthesia and recovery
+ Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and surgical teams
+ Adjust anesthetic plans as needed based on changing patient status
+ Practice independently within full CRNA scope of privileges
+ Float between sites based on staffing needs and patient volume
Qualifications
+ Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and Nurse Anesthesia
+ Current CRNA certification (NBCRNA)
+ RN and CRNA licensure in North Carolina (or compact state)
+ BLS, ACLS, and PALS (per policy)
+ Strong decision-making and clinical judgment
+ Ability to adapt across different specialties and patient populations
+ New grads welcome - orientation and preceptorship provided
+ Must have extensive knowledge of current anesthetic agents, techniques, drugs and equipment
+ Has knowledge and skills necessary to modify the anesthetic plan of care suitable to patient age
+ Must have considerable ability to make independent decisions, sometimes under stress, and to maintain a professional demeanor with patients, coworkers and physicians
