Description:Floor stock medications are refilled and appropriate patient chargedPyxis training is completed with proper knowledge in stocking machines, reviewing reports, and handling nursing concerns.Restocks, programs and trains others in automated dispensing machine on nursing units and ancillary departmentsKnowledge of location of all hospital departments and services is necessary for timely completion of responsibilitiesLists appropriate products for re-order of supply when neededCompetently handle packaging equipment and documentation. Associated appropriate signatures and checks are documentedTrains new associates on dispensing responsibilitiesPerforms other job-related duties within job scope as requested

Minimum Qualifications

Must have National Pharmacy Technician Certification or in Lieu of this Certification a Licensed Pharmacist Intern is required.Must be registered by the State of FloridaHigh school diploma or equivalent is required.Minimum of two (2) years additional education and/or experience
