Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Certified Paralegal to support attorneys by conducting legal research, preparing documents, and managing case files. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced legal environment.
Key Responsibilities
+ Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorneys
+ Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, contracts, and correspondence
+ File legal documents with courts and ensure compliance with filing deadlines
+ Organize and maintain case files, both physical and electronic
+ Assist with trial preparation, hearings, and depositions
+ Communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and other parties as needed
+ Manage calendars, deadlines, and case tracking systems
+ Review and organize discovery materials
+ Perform administrative and clerical tasks to support legal operations
Qualifications
+ Paralegal certificate required
+ Previous paralegal or legal assistant experience (typically 1–3 years)
+ Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and court rules
+ Proficiency with legal research tools and Microsoft Office
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
+ Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Preferred Skills
+ Familiarity with case management software
+ Notary public (optional)

+ Office-based – Amarillo, TX
