**Job Summary and Qualifications**
As a Lead Certified Cardiovascular Surgical Technologist at HCA Healthcare, you’ll take on a vital leadership role in the OR, guiding your team and ensuring patients receive the safest, most advanced cardiac care. Working alongside a highly skilled cardiac team, you’ll bring order, precision, and confidence to high-stakes heart and vascular procedures. **Your responsibilities will include:**
+ Leading surgical preparation by organizing suites, equipment, and instruments to ensure readiness for every procedure
+ Scrubbing in and supporting surgeons through complex cardiac surgeries, anticipating needs and maintaining a safe, sterile environment
+ Guiding and mentoring surgical technologists, serving as a role model while training new team members and reinforcing best practices
+ Overseeing quality and safety by managing counts, handling specimens, and ensuring compliance with infection prevention standards
+ Driving teamwork and efficiency through effective communication, rapid problem-solving, and support for on-call and emergency cases
**What qualifications you will need:**
+ Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification, required
+ Graduate Vocational training program in Surgical Technology
+ Currently certified as Surgical Technician or Surgical Technologist in the state(s) of practice, in accordance with law and regulation.
+ 2 years experience Required Years of Experience

We are a teaching hospital in collaboration with UCF College of Medicine. Our hospital is conveniently and centrally located in the Heart of Kissimmee.
