Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) — Beloit Area
$35/hr | ASAP Start | Through End of 2025–2026 School Year
We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support students in the Beloit area for the remainder of the 2025–2026 school year. This role works under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to deliver high-quality, school-based OT services that promote student independence, access, and participation.
Position Details
+ Location: Beloit, WI area
+ Schedule: Monday–Friday, school hours
+ Start Date: ASAP
+ Duration: Through the end of the 2025–2026 school year
+ Compensation: $35/hr
Responsibilities
+ Provide direct and indirect OT services as outlined in student IEPs
+ Support fine motor, sensory regulation, visual-motor, and functional skill development
+ Implement treatment plans created by the supervising Occupational Therapist
+ Collect data and document student progress
+ Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and families
+ Assist with evaluations and screenings as directed
+ Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
Wisconsin Requirements
+ Active Wisconsin Occupational Therapy Assistant License through the WI Department of Safety and Professional Services (DSPS)
+ Graduation from an accredited OTA program
+ Successful completion of the NBCOT exam (COTA credential)
+ Ability to pass Wisconsin school-required background checks
+ Pediatric or school-based experience preferred
