We are seeking a **Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)** to join our Hospice team, where you will provide essential care and comfort to patients while supporting their dignity and quality of life. **Why You’ll Love This Role:** As a CNA in hospice, you’ll work under the direction of a Registered Nurse to deliver both direct and indirect patient care. Your responsibilities will include: + Assisting patients with personal care such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and eating. + Supporting mobility, exercise, and safe transfers in and out of bed. + Monitoring and recording vital signs, intake/output, and other essential data. + Recognizing and reporting changes in patient conditions. + Providing comfort measures and compassionate support to patients and their families. + Maintaining supplies, assisting with clerical tasks, and ensuring patient rooms are well-stocked. **What You Bring:** + Completion of an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant program. + Current CNA certification in Washington State. + Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required upon hire). + WA Food Handler’s Permit (required upon hire). + At least 1 year of experience in an acute care setting preferred. + Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. + A caring, flexible, and compassionate approach to patient care. **Working at PeaceHealth:** This position is represented by a collective bargaining agreement and offers a supportive, mission-driven environment where every role makes a meaningful impact.
