What We Offer Schedule: PRN, no set days or guaranteed hours, based on unit need. Flex schedule depending on assignment for the day. Schedule will be known in advance. Preop is 5:30A-2P, PACU can be either 8:00A-4:30P or 0830A-5P, 8 hour shifts Monday-Friday. Candidates must have availability for any of those shifts. Unit puts out schedule on a 6 week time tract and PRN staff sign up for shifts to fill in staffing gaps. Department: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)/ Preop. Location: Medical Park Hospital- 1950 South Hawthorne Road, Winston- Salem, North Carolina Unit Info: Patients recovering from a range of different procedures. Provides and documents assistance to patients with activities of daily living and maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. What You'll Do Provides and documents assistance to patients with activities of daily living and maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. What We're Looking For Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. Experience: One year, preferred. Assisted Living facilities only: experience working in long-term care or assisted living, required. Licensure/Certification: Completion of NAI program, required. Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I, required. Medication Safety - AME, required. NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required.
