Status: Full-Time, permanent position (40 hours)
Standard working hours: 8am to 5pm (with 1 hour lunch), M-F
Location: Will report daily to Sentara Mount Jackson Health Center at 120 Medical Dr, Mt Jackson, VA 22842.
Overview
The Medical Assistant performs patient care and administrative/clerical related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations, and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
Education:
High School or Equivalent REQUIRED
Certification/Licensure:
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), EMT Basic Certification (EMT) REQUIRED
Experience:
Related experience- Less than a year REQUIRED

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay rate for Full Time employment is:$16.92 - $25.38. Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
