What You'll Do
Job responsibilities include the following:
+ Administer vaccines safely and accurately
+ Perform point-of-care testing, including lab tests and ID Now procedures
+ Room patients and prepare them for provider visits
+ Obtain and document vital signs
What We're Looking For
+ Education : High School Diploma or GED, required. Candidates will provide proof of current certification from one of the approved certifying registries including: • CMA with the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) • CCMA with the National Health Career Association (NHA) • RMA with the American Medical Technologists (AMT) • American Registry of Medical Assistants (NHCWA) • National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) • National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP) • American Allied Health (AAH) RMA with the American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA). If a candidate is not currently certified, they must obtain certification or registration by the end of the sixth month of their hire and sign an education agreement, required.
+ Experience : Previous work in a medical office, preferred.
+ Licensure/Certification: Current certification, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire as CMA, RMA or CCMA, required. Current State Drivers License (Palliative Care Only), required. Refer to Life Support Training Policy NH-HR-3096.
+ Additional Skills (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department specific skills validation and competency testing.
