Responsibilities Conduct patient intake, measure vital signs, and assist the care team with treatments and procedures as directed.Accurately document provider-patient encounters, diagnoses, follow-up instructions, and transcribe orders for labs, radiology, and medications.Manage phone communications, maintain patient records, and assist with supply inventory, ordering, and stocking.Ensure treatment rooms are prepared for examinations and the clinical area is clean and well-organized.List all proper diagnoses and symptoms, including follow-up instructions and prescriptions, as indicated by the provider.Transcribe patient orders including, but not limited to, laboratory tests, radiology tests and medications.RequirementsLicensure / Certification / Registration:
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.Medical Assistant obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.Education:
