Patient-Facing Clinical Excellence + Greet and prepare patients for cardiac consultations, stress tests, follow-ups, and procedures. + Record vital signs, obtain ECGs, assist with stress tests, and document patient history. + Support cardiovascular providers during exams and interventions with clinical accuracy and empathy. 2. Clinical & Lab Support + Perform phlebotomy, point-of-care testing, and specimen collection with precision and care. + Ensure timely coordination of diagnostic test results and follow-up instructions. + Maintain regulatory and HIPAA-compliant handling of all lab and patient data. 3. Qualifications Qualifications – What You’ll Need to Join Our Team 📘 Education + Required: High School Diploma or GED + Required: Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program + Program must include pharmacology and medication administration in the curriculum 📜 Certification + Must obtain certification/registry within 6 months of hire + Must sign an Education Agreement if not certified at time of hire Accepted Certifications/Registries: + CMA – American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) + CCMA – National Healthcareer Association (NHA) + RMA – American Medical Technologists (AMT) + ARMA – American Registry of Medical Assistants + NHCWA – National Healthcare Workers Association + NCCT – National Center for Competency Testing + NAHP – National Association for Health Professionals + AAH – American Allied Health ⚠️ Alternate Eligibility via Work Experience (For those pursuing certification via NHA, ARMA, NHCWA, NCCT, NAHP, or AMT) You may qualify if you meet both of the following: + Have not yet obtained certification/registry at time of hire + Meet one of the following alternative work experience paths: Certification Body Required Supervised MA Experience NHA / NHCWA 1 year in the last 3 years NCCT / NAHP 2 years ARMA 3 years AMT 5 of the last 7 years (max 2 as instructor) OR: Graduate of an Accredited School of Professional Nursing Experience must include clinical duties (including medication administration) and administrative duties. 🏥 Experience + Preferred: Previous experience working in a medical office ✅ Additional Requirements + Must be able to successfully complete skills validation and competency testing (generic and department-specific) Job Opening ID 65919
