Preferred Experience / Qualifications: + Demonstrated experience with injections and medication administration + Pediatric experience strongly preferred, including: + Peds blood draws + Heel sticks + Pediatric vaccines + Knowledge of immunization schedules and records + Prior experience in a clinic setting is strongly preferred What You'll Do + Rooming patients and obtaining vitals + Performing labs and assisting with specimen collection + Administering injections and medications + Managing medication inventory and ordering supplies + Administering vaccines and documenting immunizations What We're Looking For + Education:High School Diploma or GED, required. + Certified Medical Assistant requirements: Graduate of Certified Medical Assistant program. Certifications allowed through American Association of Medical Assistants. Registered Medical Assistant requirements:Registry allowed through Association of Medical Technologists. + Experience: Previous work in a medical setting, preferred + Licensure/Certification: Current certification as CMA or RMA, required. + Additional Skills Required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department specific skills validation and competency testing.
