Job Description
We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant with expertise in OBGYN to join our dedicated team. You will be responsible for greeting patients courteously, managing patient intake, and accurately documenting information in electronic health records. Your role will also involve maintaining examination rooms with necessary medical supplies, scheduling appointments, and preparing patient charts for upcoming visits.
Responsibilities
Greet patients in a courteous manner and escort them to examination rooms.Document patient information accurately in electronic health records.Stock examination rooms and triage areas with medical supplies and manage inventory.Schedule and confirm appointments, including rescheduling from the bump list.Prepare patient charts for next-day visits, ensuring referrals and authorizations are in place.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential Skills
Certified or Registered Medical Assistant.Minimum of 1 year of experience in women's health.Proficiency in using All Scripts EMR system.Outgoing and friendly personality.Additional Skills & Qualifications
CPR certification preferred.Experience in reproductive medicine and fertility.Work Environment
This position operates Monday through Friday, from 8am to 5pm, with occasional travel required (less than once a week). The work environment involves wearing conservative solid color scrubs, managing patient flow of 16 in the morning and 15 in the afternoon, and collaborating with 3-5 providers along with another Medical Assistant. The role includes preparing charts efficiently.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Norfolk, Virginia.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
