Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Assistant to join our fast-paced medical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a seamless patient experience by rooming patients and recording vital information. Responsibilities
+ Room 50-70 patients per day efficiently and with care.
+ Record patient vital signs, including height, weight, allergies, and medication changes.
+ Stock exam and treatment rooms and manage supply orders.
+ Perform phlebotomy and other medical assisting tasks as needed.
+ Utilize electronic medical records and electronic health records systems effectively.
Essential Skills
+ 2+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
+ Certification as a Medical Assistant.
+ Proficiency in oncology and medical terminology.
+ Ability to perform manual blood pressure readings.
+ Strong customer service and administrative skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with electronic medical records and electronic health records.
+ Team-oriented mindset and ability to engage in team-building activities.
Work Environment
The work environment is fast-paced, operating from Monday to Friday, 8:15 AM to 5 PM, or until the last patient is seen. There are no weekend shifts. The role involves general front-end medical assisting duties, focusing on rooming and taking vitals without being tied to a specific provider. The clinic promotes a strong culture with team-building exercises and holiday celebrations. There is also access to reimbursement for travel outside of assigned clinics.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, Texas
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
