**Certified Industrial Electrician, Belledune, NB** Interfor is looking for energetic and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as **Certified Industrial Electrician** in Belledune, New Brunswick. **What You’ll Do** + Perform any and all electrical repair andimprovement projects throughout the entire mill site. + Read, write, and understand electricalschematics, equipment drawings, and blueprints. + Perform routine preventative maintenance duties. + Troubleshoot, maintain and repair all ProgrammableLogic Controller (P.L.C.) controls, A.C inverters, or any other controlsystems throughout the mill site. + Adhere to an absolute lock-out policy,ensuring that the power source is turned off, machine locked out, andtested to ensure isolation. + Effectively manage and plan work to accomplishjob tasks with minimal direct supervision. + Submit work requests. + Fill out completed work orders listing workdone, parts used, and time taken to complete the job. + Carry out any other tasks in any field as requested by the supervisor. **What You Offer** + Red Seal Electrician certification with a strong working knowledge in PLC. + Ability to work from extended elevations usingall established safety procedures and guidelines. + Capable of communicating effectively and professionallywith all plant personnel. + Ability to train others in areas of electricalor mechanical systems to perform any routine preventative maintenanceschedules. + Ability to obtain the skills to be able to runany piece of equipment so that test runs can be performed for each machineon which repairs are made. + Ability to acquire necessary skills toeffectively perform any maintenance duties required anywhere on the millsite. + Able to work flexible schedules which couldinclude weekends, holidays, and call-in duties. + Demonstrated self starter and ability toproactively find work to do. **Additional information** + Work schedule: Rotation 2 - 2 - 3 + Group insurance + Pension plan with employer contribution + Employees and family assistance plan + Retention bonus + Personal protective equipment provided by the company + One (1) safety boots allowance per year + Prescription safety glasses program + Relocation assistance **Who We Are** Interfor is a growth-oriented forest products company, operating in all major forest products markets across North America.
