The job:

In this role, you’ll be responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of our fleet of trucks and heavy-duty equipment. You’ll ensure our vehicles are safe, reliable, and ready to serve the community each day.

What You’ll Do

Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel, CNG, gas, and electric trucks, as well as related heavy-duty equipment

Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and document findings

Complete work orders, order parts, and track repairs in M5 planner

Use power tools, hand tools, and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot and complete repairs

Assist with reviewing mechanical write-ups and scheduling repairs

Work both independently and as part of a supportive team of technicians

What You Bring

Red Seal Certification as a Heavy Duty Mechanic (required)

Minimum 1 year of post-certification experience (asset if more)

Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

Ability to read and follow repair manuals, work orders, and safety procedures

Physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs., kneel, crawl, and work in varied conditions (heat, cold, dust, noise, fumes)
