Select Physical Therapy is seeking a full-time Certified Athletic Trainer - Injury Prevention Specialist in Anaheim, CA. This position is for a Injury Prevention Specialist required to be on-site providing injury prevention services at a major theme park.

 

Location: Anaheim, CA

Type of Employment: Full-time

Schedule: 5 days/week, 8 hrs/day with two consecutive days off but the days off will most likely be during the week and not the weekend. Our operation is from 6:30am – 11:30pm with the 8 hour shift sometime between those times.

Compensation: $30-$34/hr, Commensurate with experience

Prevention Services include:Assessment, triage, and first aid application for workplace injury/discomfortErgonomic risk assessment and implementation of ergonomic solutionsDesign and implementation of functional assessments, preventative exercise and stretching Job coaching and behavior modification both one-on-one and in group settingsProviding education and training on a wide range of injury prevention topicsOffice ergonomicsHealth and wellness consultationDocumentation and reporting on employee encountersRegular communication with both client and Select leadership Qualifications

 

Minimum:

Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training/Exercise Physiology/Exercise ScienceOne year experience in direct patient care,CPR/First Aid/AED Certification

Preferred:

Certification in NSCA, ACSM and/or CSCS, Bilingual or any additional languages besides English Additional Data
