Select Physical Therapy is currently seeking a Injury Prevention Specialist - Athletic Trainer (ATC) in an industrial health setting. This position is full-time on-site at a major theme park in Lake Buena Vista, FL.

 

Position: Certified Athletic Trainer - Injury Prevention Specialist

Location: 12500 S Apopka Vineland Road, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32836

Type of Employment: Full-time

Schedule: Weekdays/Weekends (Hours vary)

Compensation: Starting at $22.50/Hr, commensurate with experience

Prevention Services include:Assessment, triage, and first aid application for workplace injury/discomfortErgonomic risk assessment and implementation of ergonomic solutionsDesign and implementation of functional assessments, preventative exercise, and stretching Job coaching and behavior modification, both one-on-one and in group settingsProviding education and training on a wide range of injury prevention topicsOffice ergonomicsHealth and wellness consultationDocumentation and reporting on employee encountersRegular communication with both client and Select leadership  Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic TrainingNational Athletic Trainers Association (NATA-BOC) Board of CertificationApplicable state license where requiredMinimum one year experience as an Athletic TrainerCPR certificationPosition requires a strong knowledge of musculoskeletal injury assessment and prevention interventions

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Athletic TrainingIndustrial Health experience Additional Data
