The Centralized Operations Support Specialist is responsible for completing operational data review and processing tasks associated with the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system. This position works independently within a collaborative team and communicates with field and corporate employees to facilitate issue resolution.
Essential Functions Perform documented processes that may include, but are not limited to, HOPE transmission, EOB reviews, and EMR data entry, review, and updates.Complete assignments in accordance with government and company specified timeframes, accuracy, and volume standards.Communicate with employees and managers to facilitate issue resolution and provide education, as neededReport issues and best practices that impact centralized processingRecommend process and documentation updates Assist in the development and delivery of training materials About YouSpecialized Knowledge/Skills:
Understand Hospice regulations and billing requirements for hospice careFederal and State specific regulations/guidelinesAble to work with confidential informationDemonstrate initiative in researching and resolving issuesWell-organized and confident to work independently, but will be a team playerDiscern areas in need of continued improvementAble to collect and process time-sensitive information from multiple sourcesDetail- and deadline-oriented with the ability to prioritize and multi-taskAble to adapt to a fast-paced environment and learn and retain new or evolving information and proceduresAble to communicate effectively with other departments
Education/Experience:
High School diploma required.Three years of Hospice and/or Home Care experience preferred
License/Certification:
