This role serves as a vital link between the client and Sedgwick, ensuring timely and accurate claim initiation, which lays the foundation for excellent service delivery. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES** + Reviews incoming emails to identify and gather necessary claim details. + Inputs claim information into the system according to organizational protocols. + Verifies the completeness and accuracy of submitted documents. + Assigns claims using provided tools, including the “All Clients List” and specialized spreadsheets to identify the appropriate client, apply special instructions, and determine claim-specific coding requirements such as office code. + Collaborates with relevant parties to gather necessary claim information and ensure accurate setup. + Maintains quality by accurately following client-specific set-up instructions and ensuring all required data is correctly entered. This includes verifying client information in CTABS and ensuring acknowledgements are sent to the appropriate parties. + Documents meeting minutes as needed to ensure accurate record-keeping and follow-up. **ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES** + Performs other duties as assigned. **QUALIFICATIONS** **Education & Licensing** High School Diploma or GED required. **Experience** Two (2) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. **Skills & Knowledge** + Strong oral and written communication skills + PC literate, including Microsoft Office products + Analytical and interpretive skills + Good organizational skills + Ability to create and complete comprehensive, accurate and constructive written reports + Ability to work in a team environment + Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies **WORK ENVIRONMENT** When applicable and appropriate, consideration will be given to reasonable accommodations. **Mental** **:** Clear and conceptual thinking ability; excellent judgment, troubleshooting, problem solving, analysis, and discretion; ability to handle work-related stress; ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously; and ability to meet deadlines **Physical** **:** Computer keyboarding, travel as required **Auditory/Visual** **:** Hearing, vision and talking The statements contained in this document are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by a colleague assigned to this description.
